Don't Worry Mom
Don't worry, Mom, I'm doing fine.
I'll have a job in a week or two.
I think I'm right where I belong.
The heat's still on, my clothes are clean,
I'm even eating my vegetables,
And I still find time for a song.
I'm still in love and she's the girl of my dreams.
She's everything and so much more than she seems.
We're getting married when the leaves turn green.
It's wonderful. It's wonderful.
Don't worry, Mom, we'll be all right.
We'll both have jobs when she graduates.
We'll find a way to make ends meet.
We're taking care and taking time,
And taking on all we can take,
And we're as happy as we could be.
We're still in love and it still feels like a dream.
